These Terms govern your use of Qesja. By using the website you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Qesja is a marketplace that connects customers with local businesses offering surplus food as “Surprise Bags” at a discount. Qesja is a platform; the businesses are responsible for the food they offer.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Business accounts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, pricing, pickup times and food safety/quality.
3. Reservations & pickup
- A reservation reserves a Surprise Bag for pickup at the stated time and place.
- Bag contents are a surprise and may vary.
- Customers should collect bags within the pickup window.
- Cancellation is possible up to 2 hours before the pickup window.
4. Payments
Where online payment is enabled, it is processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in euro (€). Refunds, where applicable, follow the relevant business’s policy and applicable consumer law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for unlawful purposes. Business owners may not reserve their own bags.
6. Liability
Qesja provides the platform “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, safety or availability of food provided by businesses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
